  1. Tabloid: an informal newspaper or magazine that is more celebrity/gossip based. Usually has more pictures and colloquial language. Targets working class
  2. Broadsheet: A formal newspaper style that that involves a lot of writing about important topics such as news, politics and usually has smaller photos. Also, it is bigger than most tabloids. Targets middle class - ABC1. Hard news. 
  3. Hard news: Important topics like politics, news and current affairs- brought out immediately after the news occurs 
  4. Soft news: light news such as celebrity gossip
  5. House style: A companys preferred layout and presentation - always used across the same addition to maintain their brand image
